Serge Noiret, PhD (*1957), est History Information Specialist dans la Bibliothèque de l'Institut universitaire européen (IUE) à Florence (Italie); il était le président (2012-2017) de la Fédération internationale pour l'histoire publique (IFPH-FIHP) et depuis 2017aussi de l'Association Italienne de Public History. Il a obtenu un doctorat (PhD) en histoire contemporaine de l'IUE et le titre équivalent belge de Docteur en Philosophie et Lettres. Il a enseigné en Italie et ailleurs. Ses intérêts de recherche actuels sont l'épistémologie de l’Histoire Publique, de l’Histoire publique numérique, la mémoire et les commémorations, les musées d’histoire, la communication de contenus historiques (Photographie, médias sociaux) et les bibliothèques universitaires. Il a organisé de nombreuses conférences dans ces domaines à l'IUE de Florence et dans d'autres pays et continents. Sa dernière publication est, avec Thomas Cauvin: Internationalizing Public History in "Oxford Handbook for Public History" edited by James B.Gardner and Paula Hamilton, Oxford University Press, 2017, pp.25-43.

Serge Noiret, PhD (*1957), is History Information Specialist at the European University Institute (EUI) Library in Florence (Italy); he was the President (2012-2017) of the International Federation for Public History (IFPH-FIHP). He obtained a doctorate (PhD) in contemporary history from the EUI and the Belgian equivalent title of Docteur en Philosophie et Lettres. He lectured in Europe and elsewhere. His present research interests are dealing with the epistemology of (Public) History, Digital (Public) History, Memory and Commemoration, Museums, Media and Communication (Photography, Social Media) and Academic Libraries. He organized and coordinated many conferences in the field both at the EUI and in other countries. His last publication is (ed. with Frédéric Clavert): L'histoire contemporaine à l'ère numérique - Contemporary History in the Digital Age, Bruxelles 2013.

Serge Noiret, Dr. phil. (*1957), ist wiss. Mitarbeiter der Bibliothek des Europäischen Hochschulinstituts (EUI) in Florenz, und er war Vorsitzender (2012-2017) der Internationalen Vereinigung für Public History (IFPH-FIHP). Er wurde am EUI in Florenz promoviert und erwarb an belgischen Universitäten zusätzlich den Titel Docteur en Philologie et Lettres. Er lehrte an Universitäten in- und außerhalb Europas. Seine gegenwärtigen Forschungsinteressen richten sich auf die Erkenntnistheorie von Geschichtskultur, des Digitalen Wandels der (öffentlichen) Geschichte, des Gedächtnisses und des Gedenkens, der Museen sowie des Verhältnisses von Medien, Kommunikation und akademischer Bibliotheken (Fotografie, Soziale Medien). Er organisierte und koordinierte viele Konferenzen am EUI und in Europa. Seine jüngste Publikation (hrsg. mit Frédéric Clavert): L'histoire contemporaine à l'ère numérique - Contemporary History in the Digital Age, Bruxelles 2013.
