Werner Dreier, Dr. phil., Historiker, arbeitete als Lehrer und in der Lehrerbildung, leitet seit dem Jahr 2000 _erinnern.at_ (Nationalsozialismus und Holocaust: Gedächtnis und Gegenwart), das im Auftrag des österreichischen Unterrichtsministeriums Lehrerfortbildungen, darunter auch Seminare in Israel organisiert und Lehrmittel entwickelt. Er gehört seit 2001 der österreichischen Delegation zur International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) an, wo er Mitglied der Education Working Group ist. Leitung von Forschungs- und Publikationsprojekten, u.a. zum historischen Lernen mit ZeitzeugInnen-Videointerviews; langjähriger Gutachter für Geschichtsschulbücher; publizierte u.a. zu Antisemitismus und zu Fragen des Lernens über Nationalsozialismus und Holocaust. www.erinnern.at

Werner Dreier, PhD, historian, has worked as a teacher and in teacher training. Since 2000 he has headed _erinnern.at_ (National Socialism and the Holocaust: Memory and the Present), which organizes teacher training courses, including seminars in Israel, and develops teaching materials on behalf of the Austrian Ministry of Education. Since 2001 he has been a member of the Austrian delegation to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), where he is a member of the Education Working Group. He has led research and publication projects, including historical learning with video interviews with contemporary witnesses; he has been a consultant for history textbooks for many years and has published on anti-Semitism and questions of learning about National Socialism and the Holocaust. www.erinnern.at
