Susan Hogervorst, PhD (*1982) works as an assistant professor in cultural history at the Open University of the Netherlands. She obtained her PhD (2010) from Erasmus University Rotterdam, where she was also a postdoc fellow. In 2019, she was a Leibniz Fellow at the Institute for Contemporary History in Berlin. Her research and teaching involve cultural memory, oral history, historical museums and digital humanities. Recently, she has written ‘The era of the user. Video testimonies in the digital age’.

Susan Hogervorst, Dr. phil. (*1982), ist Assistenzprofessorin für Kulturgeschichte an der Fakultät für Kulturwissenschaften der Open Universiteit Nederland. Sie wurde 2010 an der Erasmus-Universität zu Rotterdam promoviert, wo sie auch als Postdoktorandin tätig war. 2019 war sie Leibniz-Fellow am Institut für Zeitgeschichte zu Berlin. Ihre Forschungen fokussieren sich auf Erinnerungskultur, Oral History, historische Museen und digitale Geisteswissenschaften. Vor kurzem veröffentlichte sie ‘The era of the user. Video testimonies in the digital age’.
