Sarah Gurr is a PhD (Education) candidate, academic, and project officer in the School of Education, at The University of Newcastle, Australia. Her doctoral research explores ethical, normative and epistemic tensions in environmental and sustainability education and translates these to Australian educational policy and fossil fuel community contexts. Sarah is a qualified English and History teacher and currently teaches educational philosophy and ethics to teacher education students. Sarah is a member representative of the Philosophy of Education Society of Australasia.
