Ireneusz Paweł Karolewski, Dr. phil. habil. (*1971), Profesor nauk politycznych w Centrum Studiów Niemieckich i Europejskich im. W. Brandta, Uniwersytet Wrocławski. Studia nauk politycznych na Uniwersytecie Poczdamskim (1990-1995), tamże doktorat (1999) i habilitacja (2008), adiunkt w Katedrze Teorii Politycznej Uniwersytetu Poczdamskiego (1999-2008). Profesor gościnny na Uniwersytecie Harvarda, Uniwersytecie Kalifornijskim w Santa Barbara, Instytucie Studiów Politycznych w Lille oraz Uniwersytecie Hebrajskim w Jerozolimie. Specjalizacje badawcze: integracja europejska, badania nad nacjonalizmem, społeczeństwo obywatelskie, teoria polityczna. Współkierujący Grupą Badawczą “Identity” Europejskiego Konsorcjum Badań Politologicznych (ECPR) oraz główny wydawca rocznika “Annual of European and Global Studies”.

Ireneusz Paweł Karolewski, PhD (*1971), holds the chair for political sciences at the Willy Brandt Center for German and European Studies at the University of Wrocław. Studies of political sciences, PhD (1999) and Habilitation (2008) at the University of Potsdam (Germany). In Potsdam research associate (1999-2008); visiting professor at Harvard University, Hebrew University in Jerusalem, at the University of California in Santa Barbara and at the Institut des Sciences Politiques in Lille. Main research interests: European integration, nationalism, civil society, political theory. Co-founder of the Standing Group "Identity" of the ECPR, and editor-in-chief of the yearbook "Annual of European and Global Studies".
