Andrea Brait, MMag. Dr. (*1982), is Assistant Professor at the Department of Contemporary History and at the Department of Subject-specific Education at the University of Innsbruck and Lecturer at the University of Vienna as well as at pedagogical colleges. Previously, she taught German, History, Social Studies, and Civic Education at higher vocational schools and has participated in various research and exhibition projects. Current research interests: historical learning at extracurricular learning sites (especially museums), historical culture and identities, public history, museum presentations of history (national museums, war museums); Austria in the Cold War, Public Diplomacy, CSCE.

Andrea Brait, MMag. Dr. (*1982), ist Assistenzprofessorin am Institut für Zeitgeschichte und am Institut für Fachdidaktik der Universität Innsbruck und Lektorin an der Universität Wien sowie an Pädagogischen Hochschulen. Zuvor war sie als Lehrkraft für Deutsch sowie Geschichte, Sozialkunde und Politische Bildung an Berufsbildenden Höheren Schulen tätig und hat an verschiedenen Forschungs- und Ausstellungsprojekten mitgearbeitet. Derzeitige Forschungsschwerpunkte: historisches Lernen an außerschulischen Lernorten (insbesondere Museen), Geschichtskultur und Identitäten, Public History, museale Geschichtsdarstellungen (Nationalmuseen, Kriegsmuseen); Österreich im Kalten Krieg, Auslandskulturpolitik, KSZE.
