Simon Graf (Ethnograf/Historiker) ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im transdisziplinären Forschungsprojekt „Materialisierte Erinnerungen (in) der Landschaft“ an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK). In dessen Rahmen schreibt er seine Dissertation „Vergangenheit, Materialität, Landschaft. Eine Gegenwartsgeschichte der Panzersperren seit den 1990er Jahren“ am Departement für Zeitgeschichte an der Universität Freiburg (CH). Im Studiengang Bühnenbild/Szenischer Raum am Bachelor Theater (ZHdK) unterrichtet er Kulturgeschichte. Er publizierte zum Umgang mit dem kulturellen Erbe (zwischen Profanierung und Musealisierung) sowie zu Körper(-geschichte), Männlichkeit und Fitness.

Simon Graf (ethnographer/historian) is a member of the transdisciplinary research project “Materialized Memories in/of the Landscape” at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). In the framework of the project, he is currently writing his PhD thesis “Past, Materiality, Landscape. A Contemporary History of Anti-Tank Obstacles since the 1990s”. As a PhD candidate, he also affiliated with the Department of Contemporary History at the University of Fribourg (CH). He teaches cultural history to BA students of Scenography at the ZHdK. Besides writing about questions on dealing with cultural heritage (between profanation and museumification), he published on body(history), masculinity and fitness.
