Samantha Owen, PhD, is the Director of Gender Equity and Inclusion for Curtin University. She is also a co-founder of the Curtin University Gender Research Network and a current Academic Co-Lead for the network. Samantha teaches in the areas of modern history and Humanities and Social Sciences Education. Samantha’s research is on trauma, memory, place, identity and gender.
