Gideon Boadu, PhD, holds a Bachelor of Education in History and Religions and a Master of Education (Curriculum and Teaching) at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana; and a PhD in Education at the University of Newcastle, Australia. Gideon has interests in history and teacher education and has since 2014 published several articles on history teaching in Ghana. He has attended several conferences including the HEIRNET Conference in Vienna, 2019. Gideon is a member of the Australian Association for Research in Education and the Historical Experience, Representation, Media, Education, Society (HERMES) research group at the University of Newcastle. Gideon is currently a sessional academic in the School of Education at the University of Newcastle.
