Felix Hinz, PD Dr. phil. (*1973), ist seit 2017 Professor für Didaktik der Geschichte an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Freiburg/Br. Er verfügt über zwei Staatsexamina in den Fächern Geschichte und Deutsch, hat Lehrstühle für Geschichtsdidaktik an der LMU München und der PH Freiburg vertreten und ist als Schulbuchautor aktiv. Seine didaktischen Forschungsinteressen umfassen Formen historischen Erzählens mit signifikant fiktivem Anteil und historische Sinnbildung (hist. Mythen, hist. Romane), interkulturelles Geschichtslernen, postkoloniale Lehransätze und vergleichende Schulbuchforschung.

Felix Hinz, PhD (*1973), is, since 2017, professor for History Education at the University of Education in Freiburg/Br. He completed the full German teacher training program, was a Visiting Professor at the Universities of Munich and Freiburg/Br., and he is an active textbook author. His research focuses reach from an empirical narratology (myths, novels), interculturality in history classes, post-colonial thinking, to comparative textbook research.
