Jorge Sáiz Serrano, PhD (*1969), is associate professor of Social Sciences Education at the University of Valencia and he’s also teacher in Geography and History in secondary schools. He has two PhD, in Geography and History (Medieval) (2003) and in Social Sciences Education (History) (2015). Main research areas: history education and national identity, national narratives, historical thinking and history textbooks.

Jorge Sáiz Serrano, Dr. phil. (*1969), ist außerordentlicher Professor für die Didaktik der Sozialwissenschaften an der Universität Valencia sowie Lehrer für Geografie und Geschichte im Sekundarbereich. Er hält zwei Doktortitel, einen (2003) in Geografie und mittlerer Geschichte, einen weiteren (2016) in Didaktik der Sozialwissenschaften (Geschichtsdidaktik). Forschungsschwerpunkte: Geschichtsdidaktik und nationale Identität, nationale Narrative, historisches Denken und Geschichtslehrbücher.
